What You Can Expect at an Event
Each city offers programs unique to their community’s needs, but at every chapter event you can expect:
- Safe Geek Spaces: We want you and the entire geeky community to feel safe at our events. That’s why we prominently share our anti-harassment policy and train our volunteers in creating and maintaining safe spaces.
- No Nerd Shaming: Haven’t seen Star Wars? Can’t stand Doctor Who? That’s ok! Wherever you are in your nerdy journey, we won’t judge you.
- Letting Your Geek Flag Fly: Whatever your preferred fandom, you’ll find folks who love that fandom too! We encourage you to share that love with others and use it to make the world a better place.
